How I help

Good care begins when the person feels…

My role is never to take away independence. It is to help create the conditions where the person feels safe, respected and able to make their own right choices.

Safe, comfortable and at home
Respected, never a diagnosis or an age
Understood and accepted
Free to make their own choices
Independent, for as long as possible

About Lina

Professional knowledge, genuine human presence

Originally from Lithuania, I have permanent permission to live and work in the UK. I am medically trained, professionally qualified and self-employed, with five years of care experience here.

I have supported people living with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, cancer, reduced mobility, complex needs and through palliative and end-of-life care — always adapting with patience, common sense and respect.

I believe good care follows professional knowledge, medical guidance and best practice — and that every day is different, and every person unique.

Together, creating a happy we.

What ALBA stands for

Helping without taking away independence

Direct, personal care built on trust — a relationship formed directly with the person and their family, with consistency, presence and mutual respect.

  • Respect for the person, family, culture, language, traditions, beliefs, values and choices.
  • Listening before acting. Supporting independence rather than replacing it.
  • Professional knowledge combined with genuine human presence.
  • Conditions for comfort, dignity, wellbeing and the best possible quality of life.

Getting started

Three gentle steps

There’s no pressure and no obligation — only a warm, human start.

2

A gentle consultation

We meet for a free, relaxed conversation — to build trust and explore what would help.

3

Personalised care

Together with the person and family, we shape support that fits their needs, routine and life — and begin.
