About
A professional live-in carer and wellbeing companion. Professional knowledge with genuine human presence — together, creating a happy we.
Lina — known as Alba
Originally from Lithuania, I have permanent permission to live and work in the UK.
I am medically trained, professionally qualified, self-employed, and have five years of care experience in the UK. I hold a full driving licence and am happy to travel for the right opportunity.
I can offer reliable, long-term availability and have no plans for extended holidays. I prefer a stable, mutually agreed routine rather than constantly changing shifts, as this brings consistency and security for both the person receiving care and their family — while I remain flexible and adaptable to the person’s changing needs.
I live with an open heart and a deep respect for life, people, nature and animals. I believe every person deserves kindness, dignity, understanding and genuine human connection. Living together is a special relationship built on trust, respect, understanding and shared everyday life.
Professional knowledge with genuine human presence.

Experience
I have experience supporting people living with a wide range of conditions, always adapting with flexibility, patience, common sense and respect.
Alongside personal care, I also provide live-in care, companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, support with appointments, and help to create and maintain daily routines. I support rehabilitation following agreed care plans, and offer emotional support and everyday encouragement.
My aim is to help create and maintain daily routines that support comfort, independence, rehabilitation, wellbeing and the best possible quality of life — adapting as needs change, and always respecting the person’s wishes, dignity, culture, language, traditions, beliefs and independence.
Optional, where welcome
Alongside care, and always with the person’s and family’s agreement, I can offer gentle wellbeing sessions to support relaxation, comfort and emotional wellbeing.

Emotional wellbeing support
These services support relaxation, comfort and emotional wellbeing. They are not a replacement for medical treatment, and are always provided with agreement. My approach is holistic — caring for the whole person, physical, emotional, social, mental and soulful, while always respecting medical advice and the wishes of the individual and their family.
My philosophy
Life is not lived by protocol alone.
Professional knowledge, rehabilitation plans and best practice provide the foundation. Genuine care also requires flexibility, understanding and human presence.
Every person is unique. Every day brings different needs. My role is to adapt with knowledge, respect, kindness and calm — supporting both the person and their family through everyday life. I believe that to care well for others, I must also care for myself, so I maintain a healthy daily routine and look after my own physical, mental and soulful wellbeing. This helps me bring positive energy, calmness, resilience and consistency to the people I support.
Happiness grows when it is shared.
My approach
I believe life is shaped by the choices we make every day.
The right choice is not about being perfect. It is about making thoughtful decisions that support health, dignity, comfort, independence, wellbeing and happiness. Every person has their own personality, values, wishes, family, culture, language, traditions, beliefs and life story. Together we can make the right choices for everyday life — creating routines, adapting to changing needs, supporting rehabilitation, maintaining independence, and enjoying the simple moments that bring comfort and joy.
The right choice is listening before acting. It is respecting rather than replacing independence. It is adapting rather than expecting everyone to fit the same routine. It is combining professional knowledge with genuine human presence.
Happiness grows when we make the right choices together.
Professional values
These are the conditions I work to create — for you, with you.
How I work
Respect
The whole person
For each person’s individuality, dignity, family, culture, traditions, beliefs, values and choices — never a diagnosis or an age.
The right choice
Choose yourself
My role is not to decide for you, but to help you understand the options and choose what feels right.
Flexibility
Meeting you where you are
Every person and situation is different, so support adapts to your needs, wishes, abilities, routines and stage of life.
Independence
Strengthening, not replacing
Wherever possible, support should protect your confidence, autonomy and involvement in your own decisions.
Human connection
Together, not dependency
A relationship built on trust, consent, confidentiality and mutual respect — sometimes another’s hands, eyes or ears, sometimes simply a calm presence.
About me personally
I enjoy nature, animals, meaningful conversations, movement, and everything that brings peace to everyday life. Art is an important part of my life — I love to draw and create.
My hobbies include art, living well, laughing, a healthy routine, time in nature, learning throughout life, staying active, and enjoying each day. Family is very important to me. I respect every person’s culture, language, traditions, beliefs, privacy and home, and I always treat the place where I live and work with care, cleanliness and respect.
My mission
To combine professional knowledge with genuine human presence, helping people live each day with
dignity, comfort, independence and hope — because happiness grows when it is shared. Together, creating a happy we.
If anything here resonates, I’d be glad to hear from you. The first conversation is always free, with no pressure — and references are available on request.
