Calm, gentle hypnotherapy — at your own pace
A quiet, supportive space to ease anxiety, soften old patterns, and reconnect with a calmer, more confident you. Online across the UK, or in person near Louth.
A gentle, doctor-informed approach
Hypnotherapy is simply a relaxed, focused state — a little like that calm feeling between waking and sleeping. In it, the mind becomes more open to helpful, gentle suggestions and to letting go of tension and unhelpful patterns.
You stay aware and in control the whole time. As a doctor, I bring careful, evidence-aware understanding to every session; as a person, I bring warmth, patience and acceptance. We always go at the pace that feels right for you.
It may help you with
- Anxiety, worry and feeling overwhelmed
- Stress and difficulty switching off
- Confidence and self-belief
- Sleep and deep relaxation
- Letting go of unhelpful habits or patterns
- Processing change, loss or a difficult time
What a session is like
We begin with a relaxed conversation, so I understand what matters to you and what you’d like to feel. Then I gently guide you into a calm, comfortable state — you simply rest and listen. Most people find it deeply relaxing.
Afterwards, we talk briefly about how it felt. There’s no pressure and no jargon — just a safe, supportive space that’s entirely yours.
Online or in person
Online sessions take place over a private video call, and work beautifully — many people feel most at ease in their own home. If you’d prefer to meet in person, that can be arranged near Louth, Lincolnshire.
Hypnotherapy supports wellbeing and relaxation. It does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or psychological therapy. If you have a health concern, please continue to follow the advice of your GP or healthcare team.
Good to know
Your questions, gently answered
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. It’s a safe, gentle, relaxed state of focused attention. You stay aware and in control throughout, and you can pause or stop at any time. It supports wellbeing and does not replace medical or psychological care.
Will I lose control?
No. You can’t be made to do anything against your wishes. Hypnotherapy is collaborative — you remain fully aware, and nothing happens without your consent.
Does online hypnotherapy really work?
For most people, yes — very well. A private video call is all you need, and being in your own familiar space often helps you relax more deeply.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies from person to person. We’ll talk it through at your free consultation and shape a plan that suits you. There’s never any pressure to commit.
